It buzzes and the amplification is not shielded properly.
May work with note books but it is useless on my system costs $28 to ship back a $26 credit
Do not buy if you have a desk top base |

I bought this for my daughter's netbook and once in a while use it with her MP3 player and 19 inch LCD TV. It sounded great once I put the subwoofer under her study table. Easy to install and use plug and play. |

I bought theses thinking the bass would be better. I have a set of speakers (no bass box)and they are better than what I bought. If you are looking for very low end, these will do fine. However, first look over other options. |

I had a bit of annoying bass distortion on a few songs, when turned up loud enough. But I normally don't listen to music on my computer - for generic computer sounds, youtube videos and light gaming, these speakers are all you could ask for and more. |
