This 2S2I StarTech PEXSAT2IDE2 PCIe Controller Adapter Card lets you add two Serial ATA (SATA) (one internal, one external) and two IDE channels (2 IDE drives per channel) to a computer, through a single PCIe slot. The StarTech PEXSAT2IDE2 PCIe Controller Adapter Card offers a hardware RAID solution with support for RAID 0, RAID 1 and JBOD, allowing you to configure your SATA drives to meet individual storage needs. Incompatible with ZIP drives on windows
Windows needs the Iomega ZIP drivers OR windows drivers to control the drive. I could not access the on-board bios to disable the control. PC sees drive but the OS cannot. Probably works fine for IDE hard drives and CD-ROM's. Just not ZIP drives.
