Worked as advertised

Only hiccup was figuring out that you had to press enter to bring up an on screen keyboard for text field entry. Otherwise does exactly what it is supposed to.

Pretty good

Very good price and nice features, the interface is kind of slow, not very responsive at times you have to click on things twice. It has already frozen on me a few times while watching HDX movies on Vudu and on YouTube it froze a few times, watching the same things on my PS3 it doesn't bat an eye so I know it's the device. I have a 20 meg connection running to it so it's not that, overall though it's good for the kids to watch Netflix, HD quality is very good on Netflix and the UI is just like the PS3.

Not what I expected

The unit worked out of the box without any undo stress. I was expecting to have access to the internet through the device, alas the unit only allows you to view content through the pre loaded apps and has no way to connect directly to the internet through a browser. Apparently, after much research, only google tv devices have an internet browser (Chrome). Many companies require login to their website to watch their shows (TNT, TBS, etc..), so without a internet browser app only limited content is available and even that content has to be paid for through Hulu or Netflix.

I was not sure what to expect,,it works well,,, the content is limited and did not know what to expect,,, I did get Netflix,, and part of my disappointment is in that, It works well,, but TV shows are not up to date enough,, my problem with content is that it works with mostly py for premium sites. I get more up to date shows from free sites,, but must deal with popups. Maybe it was my fault not realizing content was limited to certain sites. It does work well , just limited sites you can use it on.

It works

I bough this so my mother could watch Netflix movies and series with subtitles. It works just fine. Was easy to set up and it easy enough for her to use

Not the best not the worst

I only purchased because this one had a rebate. I only paid $40 for this item and I am glad I did. For the $70 price buy a Roku, I wish I had gotten a Roku. The unit only has a couple of channels Netflix, Youtube and Vudu. Typing text is a pain in all the programs. It's plainand the but for the same price as others get a better system that has more apps. I loved my purchase until I saw the Roku. I'm still happy with my D link and for my budget it was a smart buy

Easy to setup and streams Netflix great. No problems to this date.

Great For Me!

I had an RCA piece of junk and replaced it with the D-Link. I was so surprised with the performance compared to the RCA. I am totally satisfied as I only wanted to use it for Utube and NetFlix.

Buy ROKU

I have two ROKU devices and the content offered by them compared to D-Link is like day and night. This unit is slow and content is limited, very limited. Everything is like pulling teeth to navigate to. I would not recommend and would not buy again. In short buy ROKU.

A great Deal

I was really skeptical about purchasing this because I had been considering Apple TV and thought 'what can I expect for less than half the cost?' But I took the chance, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get hooked up and running. I've only had it a month so far, but there have been absolutely no problems encountered in the quality or performance. The remote control is much more user friendly than the one with the Apple TV. I gave it a 4 on Features just because we are greedy and always want more of everything.
