Works as it should, with solid construction
Being a Lightscribe user already, I knew what I wanted and this fit the bill perfectly. With software already installed, it was literally plug and burn. I tested the Lightscribe feature first and it did exactly what it was designed to do. It seemed on par with the internal burner I already have. Sturdy construction and weight to keep any possible vibration low. Value was great. Time will tell on stamina.

Works great on reading and burning cds and dvd....I recommend this drive to anyone looking for a external optical drive.....

As advertised
So far the burner has worked great. Easy to use and burns dual-layer, which was my primary reason for getting it. I haven't tried the Lightscribe yet, but if it works as well as the dual-layer it will be very good.

Great DVD Writer
I purchased this external drive when I bought a new desktop PC that didn't come with a writer that had the Lightscribe technology. I've used Lightscribe for years and wanted to continue labeling with it and was happy to find an external drive that had the technology. The drive is high quality, very sturdy, well made, solid connection ports, and truly plug & play. Within 3 minutes of connecting it, I was up and running and labeling some new discs. I highly recommend this drive.
