This appears to be an excellent value. The video is better than life, substantial speed, wireless ''N'', integrated web cam, and more. Now the truth. The processor isa bit slow (you won't believe me if you have not experienced Vista). The wireless ''N'' Lenovo could not get to work (they suggested that I call fee based Lenovo support on a 12 hour old notebook). The web cam didn't work. According to Lenovo it was not supported by ''Vista''. So after hours of support both DIY and Lenovo, I have no wireless N, no webcam, and numerous OS lock ups, shut downs, and errors. I am sending it back tomorrow. To take no chances the replacement will be neither Lenovo nor Vista it will be the Sony VAIO BX760PS3. A note on Vista, believe the critics, even the tech support that I received agrees, in fact one said ''they are just losing money by loading Vista'' and another suggested that I load XP on my brand new laptop. If I thought they would support it I would have. |
