Great Enclosure for spare drive
I had a spare drive from an old laptop that I bought this enclosure for. Right out of the box no issues with installing drive and powering up and now I have an additional 250 GB of storage.

SImple and effective
It seems light and there isn't anything to it but I guess all enclosure are like this. Works like a charm, drive from my MacBook fit perfectly (upgraded). I like the power off the bus, can use it anywhere. Was going to get a different unit but this was the only one in stock and make sure you grab the correct one if you go to the store, SATA or IDE, the salesperson grabbed the wrong one, identical boxes.

Solid, quality nice product
Super solid nice fitting unit. Shiny and quality construction with super easy installation. Colorful case sides just slide right off without need for screw removal and the hard drive installs with 4 supplied screws ... including the screwdriver! I have not had success in getting the unit to mount yet however I have a used linux OS drive in it and may have a initialize issue or partition issue that I will have to shake out. The read me files are not well labeled as far as where the manual is for help vs. which files have drivers for earlier OS's like 98 but I figured it out. Windows Vista found the drivers and installed no problem. Comes with nice USB cable for plugging into two USB's simultaneously for added power as some systems may need. Nice case (although not real leather) that has strong magnetic catch.
