Have had the monitor for almost a year now with no problems of any kind. No idea about the sound, i would expect it sucks since its a monitor, i use 5.1 through audigy sound card. I game and work nonstop on my pc and always turn my monitor off when not in use. So far the monitor has worked and functioned quietly 100%.
Just like anything, if you dont get a lemon, you got a sweet monitor cheap. |

This is Junk. It worked good for 18 mouths then just quit working. A friends quit after 13 Mouths |

I ordered this Friday night and received it Monday. Hooked it up yeaterday (Monday). Works great with No Dead Pixels! My first LCD Monitor was a 19'' Sceptre. It had a Great picture before I sold it (still works). I wanted to buy a Widescreen. This time I figured I couldn't go wrong buying another Sceptre product. I now have 1 Westinghouse 26'' monitor, 1 20'' Samsung Monitor and 1 DCLCD 20.1'' monitor. This DCLCD is a Great Monitor so far. Thanks CompUSA! |

Bought mine 3 years ago when they were still labeled Sceptre. Arrived with 1 red pixel which went away after 4 months. Monitor still performs and looks great to this day. If i was going to buy another one today, after reading reviews i'd probally buy an Acer instead. |

Problems like other owners - this monitor flashes to a VERY BLUE tint rendering it unusable for 15 to 20 minutes then it jumps back to good colour.
This is the second DCLCD monitor model that has failed at JUST OVER A YEAR. DO NOT RISK IT! |

This monitor came with a dead pixel which I could live with. Worse, the picture would flicker and blank out sometimes and finally, of course, three days after one year of service the monitor died. I wouldn't buy another one of these monitors. |

I just received this monitor today and quite impressed with the colors.
My hoppy is photography, so I was hesitant to move to LCD, but this monitor is almost like CRT tube monitor. I have 20.1 inch ViewSonic and wasn't very happy with the color, even after calibration, but this one was working fine out of the box. Colors look natural and images are crisp. Only complain I have is cheap fimsy monitor stand, but I'll use VESA mount, so it won't be an issue.
It's my first day, so I don't know how long it will last, but so far I'm very happy for $129 monitor. |

Bought this in August 2007. Display stopped working. The monitor will not boot when turned on. Very dissatisfied with this product. |

I purchased it a while back because it has a very deceptive nice look. After I bought, it took almost three months to realise that the constant humming noise was coming from the monitor(which is quite frankly unbearable in night). I thought it was because of my old computer. Called the DCL Tech support in California He agreed about the problem and told me to ship it at my cost which was really not worth. I asked for replacment which he did not agree. Now I am having sudden changes in clolour to blue..Made a mistake..Please do not buy this product.. |
