Got this to replace a cooler that broke a mount and to cool the processor even more. The smaller round cooler kept the processor about 30 degrees cooler than this one is doing. Even remounted it to make sure it was perfectly level on the CPU |

Nothing like a V8 shaped fan for your CPU. Be advised that it has to be installed before the motherboard. The plastic part mounts behind the MB. Thus mine is still in the box waiting for the next CPU update. Unbelievable low price.
Hope it doesn't sound like my 59 Chevy! Varoommm, varoommm... |

Its a good cooler, quieter than the stock 80mm fan that DELL put with my inpiron 530, fits fine it.
temperature wise, didn't do much, if any, could be the thermal paste being applied wrong by me, but it didn't do much for my E4500.
IDLE: 33c
LOAD(p95):50
and those are the same as the stock cooler.
my problem tho with it, is not the product it's TG, they charge $7 shipping on there site BUT on their a-mazon account, they charge $3 shipping for it, so I went with the a-mazon account, and they took 7, yes 7, SEVEN!!! freakin' days to ship to san francisco. SEEEEVVEEEN!!!!
amazon ships anything for free in the matter of 3 days, I get my item, so does new-egg
thats my only problem.
and the fins can feel a little soft. |

It's not fancy, it's not all pretty, but it's inexpensive and it works good for a moderate to high overclock. The mounting is extremely secure, but you'll need to remove your motherboard to install this cooler. Keeping my 2.4GHz CPU comfortable at 3.6GHz. Be warned, you'll NEED to lap the base, it looks like the manufacturer tried to do it with a hammer and chisle. I didn't use the supplied thermal compound, didn't even try it, didn't trust it. |

keeps my core2duo 2.66 running at 33c. had to remove mobo to install but was overall easy...would recommend. |
