This is truly an outstanding monitor. It is truly exceptional for gaming and for picture editing. If you are considering 25x16 you should seriously consider the 305T+. It is actually better than the Apple CD 30'' and it is much better than the Dell.
If you want true black, this is the display for you! |

Some people think paying this kind of money for 30'' is stupid when you can get a 46'' full 1080p for 300$ cheaper and use it as a monitor, well they're wrong. The pixel size and resolution are amazing on this monitor, not to mention a 178 degree viewing angle. I bought this and definitely 100% do not regret it. I love the swivel and tilt on it as well. But make sure you have a high end graphics card for the best display, thanks Tiger. |

A little pricey, but this is hands down the best monitor I have ever used. High quality monitor with no problems whatsoever, at least for me. I've had it for a about a year now. When I originally went to upgrade my monitor I was torn between going with Dual 24 inch Dell's, or a single Samsung 30 inch (which came to about the same cost). In the end I was glad I went with this one. In its native monster resolution of 2560x1600 the picture quality and color is excellent. Also a very bright monitor. No trouble seeing it in any lighting. I use it for 3d modeling, image editing, and for engineering analysis work. Also fantastic for games! As long as you have a beefy graphics card (which you'll need) the monitor can support most resolutions, granted the picture quality suffers somewhat if less than the native resolution. Overall I love this monitor so much I may purchase another one someday and go dual 30 inch! Just be warned...this monitor will spoil you!!! |

I researched this a lot before buying. It is AWESOME!. I have decided that 2560x1600 resolution is far better than dual head! I can do dual full page 100% editing side by side. I can run VMs at 1600x1200 and have lots working room too. The monitor is great, I got the + model. It's clean and I don't see bad pixels etc. It's very bright. I do some gaming and I have to push the monitor away from me as sitting too close slows you down. HOWEVER!!! WEIRD THING! I swapped this from a samsung 24 inch that worked perfect and after, when gaming, my wireless USB KB seemed to lag and my character (TF2) would get stuck! I tried wired USB keyboard, same problem. I switched to a wire PS2 keyboard and problem went away! Does this monitor emit some magnetic field that upsets USB??? Normal work seemed ok - it was just gaming when you hold keys for long time. |

Bought this Samsung 305T from tigerdirect about a week ago. I had a hunch that Samsung wasnt making regular 305T's anymore but 305T+ (PLUS). The 305T+ version has 102% wider gamut which means more colors on color specturm. What gave me that hunch was a pdf file on samsungs website dated March 2008, giving the new specs.
Sure enough I was right, when I received my 305T from tigerdirect I did indeed receive a Samsung 305T+ monitor. The model number was 305T, but the model code was LS30HUXCB/XAA which is for the 305T+ version. On the top left corner of my 30'' it indeed says 305T+.
The colors out of the box are pretty much good to go. The colors are very rich and deep thanks to the new Wide Gamut backlighting. Gaming on this is a dream. The white balance is perfect, the screen uniformity is on the dot, and there isnt any ''sparkle'' effect found on newer S-IPS panels. Also no corner white glow like the DELL 3007WFP-HC. DISCLAIMER you may or maynot get a 305T+ version. |

This is by far the best monitor I've ever used. The response time seems quicker than the 6ms they quote (more like 4 or less). I run AutoCAD on one of these and this baby really shines. Sharp, Crisp, Perfect. I chose this monitor because it had the 30'' Apple Cinema Display beat in all specs, and half the price. Well Worth the money. Only Gripes, The USB Hub isnt powered and some speakers might have been nice (but didnt knock the score down on the display for speakers). All in all, awesome, just make sure your Vid Card can handle it. 2460x1600 is hefty |

A bit pricey, but this is one impressive monitor! I run it at the full 2560x1600 resolution for photo and video editing. At first I was overwhelmed (coming from a 22'' monitor running at 1600 x1200 resolution), but in less than four hours I was convinced. Love it! |
