Great Phone, I use GPS on the phone from the Nokia preset map navigation and get sychonized with Rogers network at no problem at all.
Can save photo for each contact and ring tone is so loud and adjustable (easy to hear). I use Motorola and Sony Ericsson but this phone seems to be the best and I will keep it as long as it works. Stereo speakers and great camera (5 meg).

Ordered this phone after my piece of crap motorola bricked on me. I was considering getting the iPhone after falling victim to the Apple propaganda machine. But after doing some objective reviews and searching, I decided on the N95 instead. I'm so glad that I did. This phone is one of the most feature-rich phones that I've ever seen. It's replaced my iPod, GPS, camera, and day planner. The phone integrates smoothly with Outlook 2003 to synch your calendar, contacts, and emails. You can set up multiple email accounts and check them either over your carrier's network or by nearby wi-fi. I regularly use McDonald's free wi-fi to check my email when I'm traveling without having to burn time on my carrier. My two complaints are lack of a qwerty keyboard on it and that the slide design isn't quite as tight as I would have liked. Fix those two, and this is easily the best phone out there.

This phone is great. It's the Iphone Killer, actually it was out in the market about a year and a half before the Iphone. Many people have already stated what this little ''all in one'' device can do. I just want to share a little firmware trick If you have the U.S. model it will only let you update the phone up to firmware 12.X.X. Just google Nokia N95 firmware and you'll see how to trick the Nokia software updater to giving you the latest and greatest firmware 20.X.X by changing your product code to an European or Asian one. This gives you much better battery life, better and faster gps, trust me get it!Disclaimer if you mess up your phone or brick it...I take NO responsibility. It a simple trick...up to you to take the small risk for the great benefits. Happy N95ing to all of you

I purchased the phone a week ago. I got it really fast. TIGERDIRECT IS THE BEST!!! Unfortunately I have to exchange the Nokia N95 Classic to Nokia N95-3 because the classic that I got from TigerDirect had problems with front keypads, the squeaking annoys me. I had to update software myself since I got the older firmware from them and it lags. ON the brighter side Nokia N95 is indeed better than IPhone. Many cool features, strong Wifi signal for a compact phone. Bice speaker sound. The downside on th classic is the battery life and ram for running apps. I am exchanging it to a Nokia N95-3 50% longer battery life and 5 times the ram. You get only about 19mb on the first boot in the classic. You get 80mb on the Nokia N95-3. For $10 more I will get the Nokia N95. No matter what it is still Nokia N95 no matter what version. It is the best phone in this era. Thanks TigerDirect.

Battery life is terrible! Lock ups lock ups lock ups! Nokia guided me through a firmware update, results... lock ups! If I had more than 2 programs running at once, lock ups! GPS, camera (in good light), and wifi is nice. However do not expect to use the GPS or wifi for more that two to three hours if so your will need to keep the phone tied to an alternate power source. Very disappointed in Nokia. This phone is going back!

I've been using this phone for about 6 months and love it.
Recently got the iPhone but I still prefer the N95 because the iPhone is lacking in features even though it is great in user-interface design. Performance on the iPhone is a little smoother, but there are too many limitations even with 3rd-party hacks.
The N95 is compact, the GPS is not bad when used with Nokia Maps and Sports Tracker, but is not the same as a dedicated GPS. The camera and video shooting is much better than what the iPhone can offer. Slingbox owners can now download the free SlingPlayer for this phone to watch TV from anywhere. It also has Adobe Flash player, VoIP, Opera browser, Google Maps / MGMaps, Internet Radio, DivX Player...etc. The list goes on and on, because it is an open platform, unlike the iPhone.
Also watch out for the new North American version (N95-3) that has extended battery and HSDPA for North America (e.g. Rogers). Hopefully TigerDirect will carry the N95-3 soon.
