Smoking....Have not had an Intel type chip for over 8 years but this one with the motherboard smokes everything. Got a Quad Core with this and it just cruises fine, I too did not have a drivers cd in the box with the motherboard. Good thing I still had my other computer hooked up so I could download some driver. Other than that Awesome Board!!!!!

I've built quite a few systems but this is my first using XFX. Thus far, I am not impressed. The user guide is not complete. For example, the product has an on-board digital post code but the manual fails to explain what the codes mean. You can access the bios flash using ALT F2 but does the manual tell you that, no. You'll need to dig that info yourself off the Web. If you need some help using the non-Win flash, sorry, you're on your own, no help to be found on their support page. If you submit a ticket for help, the response time is okay but the support site itself is weak when compared to other vendors. Few utilities, sketchy notes, no community forum, and no knowledge base.

I upgraded to this board from an Intel 965 chip and with the same cpu it ran slower. Tried overclocking it and could not get the same benchmarks. Got a 975x chipset and blows this board away. Benchmarks way higher. Will say it came with a bunch of cables and i actually got a driver cd.

I have this linked up with a C2D @ 2.33, fsb is 1333 and mem is 800mhz. Bought OCZ SLi mem and 8800GTX(a few months ago, would buy 8800GT in SLi), enabled the advanced feature of this mobo for the mem. Very fast without OC. The bios is good for overclocking and well layed out. Nice fatures. I rec this mobo to any avid gamer or computer user wanting a top end machine. Plus a black mobo just looks cool. The parts included are enough to stasify any short parted user. *note, with C2D @ 2.2 the 800Mhz ram will not work properly, must use 667 or windows will BSoD. Only down side is cost of all DDR2 mobos.

The best motherboard I ever bought. Comes with the good cabling types as well. Very impressed. Got the OCZ SLI DDR2-800 and a big zelman air cooler and over clocked a 3.4Ghz P4 dual core (not the core 2 duo) to 4.25 GHz and everything runs fine. Any higher and games and vista start crashing. A Core 2 duo and some liquid cooling might go more. But I’m fine where I’m at. I did a lot of research before this purchase and I’m glad I got this MOBO.
