Worth it
I originally purchased an ultrabook from a competitor and instantly regretted it. It arrived broken. It took over 2 weeks to get verification they received it back and by then they were sold out. I ordered one from Tigerdirect and had it sooner than expected. The screen is very bright, and the resolution is great for all my needs. The processor is the fastest I've owned. Battery life is about 7-8 hours if you don't constantly use the internet. With the internet on all the time you get about 5 hours of battery life. It takes one second to restore from hibernation. One of the main selling points for me was Win 7. Windows 8 didn't make sense without a touch screen and I have several older peripherals that probably don't have Win 8 drivers. I'm also getting too lazy to learn another Microsoft operating system. This ultrabook is so light I'll never go back to a full size laptop.

why so exspencive?
What gives HP the rite to stick a $40 ssd into this laptop and charge $300 more than any other laptop with same specs?

Great Laptop!
I have had this Ultrabook for a couple weeks now and I love it. I was looking for one with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS pre-installed since I am not too fond of the new Windows 8 user interface. This Ultrabook is plenty fast with the SSD combined with the HD, great for running many apps and doing work at the same time. The only thing I wish this Ultrabook has is a back lit keyboard like many other ENVY models from HP. Overall, great package for the price.
