Bought a Kodak V1003. Bought this for my mom. I wish it was reverse. This camera takes beautiful quality pictures easily and is well built. |

the best camera i have ever spent my money on. WAYYY better than all my other friends cameras. ive had the camera for a litle more than a year and i havent had a problem with it. the pictures come out great and it has so many amazing options to edit your images. i love the color swap. i use it to change the color of my shirts :)
will definatly recommend to others. :) |

if you love taking pictures and don't get paid for it, get this camera. screen looks fantastic, speed is decent, photo quality is more than enough for me, videos look good, has worlds of features that i hope i can learn to use one day, and battery life is great IMO (i'm not all that attentive to charging the thing but i've never had it run out of juice). in addition, and perhaps most importantly, it's tough. a couple weeks after i got it, a negligent friend of mine left it sitting screen-side-down in a puddle of beer. the screen looks a little... odd now, but pics are still perfectly viewable and performance did not diminish. general use is plenty intuitive (very rare) and lens guard flaps have held up brilliantly (also rare) |

This camera is an excellent point and shoot. Recycle time is fast. perfect for if you have kids and need to get out the camera in time to catch that perfect shot. |

I have been using it for over a month now and it's one of the best digital cameras that I have owned. Well worth the price. Just the right size too. Would recommend this camera to anyone. |

Amazing camera, This is my first digital camera and I simply love it, with the new processor it comes with it starts up in less than a second which is perfect for those quick moments. With all of the features and the performance of this camera I would expect it to cost much more than it does , if you are debating with this camera trust me just buy it you'll be happy |

I have never been compelled to write a review for anything I've ever bought, until now. This is my first digital camera and it is AMAZING. It is so simple to use and the pictures come out crystal clear! I will never go back to taking pictures with my cameraphone. The pictures of my friends and family are so clear. The functions are very simple and I was taking phenominal pictures in less than an hour. My favorite part is the SD card that now comes in 4GB+ !!! I can take unlimited pictures and videos at any event! The feature I use the most is the Macro feature for posting pictures of watch faces. I blog alot on watch collector forums and my pictures have won me awards like best photography and best watch pictures. I am very happy with TigerDirect for uniting me with this wonderful Canon.

They say you can't get better quality than canon, and at this price, quality and value and together. This camera take amazing pictures and overall is fairly straight forward to use, even for a novice photographer. overall the menus can be overwhelming, and the best pictures will be if you just leave them on auto. most people should turn down the resolution, so to save space on your SD memory card. one pleasant surprise was the fact that canon includes a 32meg SD card with this camera, a rarity in new camera purchases. it isn't very big, but a nice gesture to new users. The canon SD1000 is a great camera and tigerdirect.com makes it a great value. highly recommended. |

I was a professional photographer years ago and have many film and digital cameras. This is one of my all time favorites since it is so small, yet packed with quality. It takes great pictures and can easily slide in my coat or shirt pocket so I can carry it anywhere. I've gotten some great pictures because I'm back to carrying a camera all the time. |
