MB/CPU Work great! No problems. I replaced an Intel P4 and Intel MB from a Dell that died. This was an inexpensive fix and works without any problems. I was able to reuse the 1 gig DDR memory from the old system. Great buy.

I have bought Biostar boards in the past and have found them to be average all around and at least worth their price. Sadly, I can not say that of this board. Out of the three of this board my friends and I purchased, only one does not have severe problems. The board I bought for myself, has caused me no end of problems. The board over heats frequently, making me add exhaust fans, and other things to compensate. Recently, the onboard Nvidia 6100 has died completely. I had to drop more money to get a PCIe video card so I can use it. Lastly, the customer support was non-existent. I e-mailed Biostar about the video issue, and they told me to reinstall the drivers. Now they, will not respond at all or honor their warranty. I would avoid this board all together. And thanks to the lack of customer support or honoring of warranty, I am going to avoid Biostar completely.

Bought this combo to replace an older Intel board that had expired. Easy to get together, makes a terrific replacement for those who want to re-use the old DDR memory they might have. Used a ThermalTake cooler with the copper heatsink and it runs cool at 43 deg C. Could have had a few more features but, great value for the money.

I am able to overclock the 200MHz Toledo 3800+ to 280MHz with default voltage setting. The BIOS does not have as many OC options as the TForce 6100-939, but I could still drop the HT to from 4X to 3X, memory speed from 200MHz to 166MHz to get it to POST. The board now runs the 3800+ at 280MHz (like a 5400+), HT Link at 840MHz, and a pair of regular 1GB Kingston 400 DDR at 233MHz. all with just default voltage values.
