Great external drive
Bought it to use as a backup drive for PS3. Having to reformat it to FAT32 was a pain, and meant that I never got to see any of the preinstalled software, so no idea if it was helpful or a hindrance. Works great, very portable, very fast.

Great to get Seagate Quality at this price
It works great - and fast - on USB 3. For backups it will replace my old Seagate 500 desktop drive that has been a workhorse for years - that one will now be used for archival storage.

Very Impressed
I purchased this drive for my roommate's 160GB HD. Upon opening the bow small this drive is, I thought I had ordered the wrong item. But after re-reading the description, I learned otherwise. Still skeptical, I plugged it in and ran Norton's backup utility. It performed flawlessly, and has ever since. My only complaint is with the time it takes for the manufacturer's rebate, but I won't hold that against Tiger.

My 10 year old Hard Drive is Full
Purchased this drive to move my photos and documents from my old hard drive. Everything moved very easily. The nice thing is that you can unplug it and take it to visit family to share the pictures and videos of the new baby.
