This unit is a nice little mp3 player. Plenty of room for hundreds of songs. Video playback is nice, although you do need to find or convert your video's to the proprietary format for this unit. video's look clear, and the sound is acceptable. Have had it for three years and have had no problems with it at all. The really nice thing about this unit is you don't need any software to install on PC in order for it to work! Plug it in to any windows XP PC, and the usb port recognized and installed the hardware driver just fine. Then just copy and paste your MP3's over to the Onyx. The only draw backs that I have found for this unit is it does not tune in any radio stations, even though it says it is a radio tuner as well. (just static) Also, no luck in finding an arm band holder for this unit, so I had to fashion one myself. overall, i would definitely buy another one of these from the same company. good machine. |

I purchased this on a Tuesday night and was receieved on Thursday. Super fast shipping is always a good thing. It is amazing item for the money. It works flawlessly, plugged into my laptop and it recognized it and vista installed with no problems. Its a must for the price for the features you get. Only complaint is 1gb isnt much if your planning on storing a lot of media. I am purchasing another one or a different Mach Speed Product... Impressed, thanks Tiger direct, I never shop anywhere else... |

Bought it for the wife and she loves it. Plastic case though. No complaits. It's noy an I-Pod, buy it works just like one. Instructions a little poor, but visit Machspeed.com for complete guide. Go for it. |

I bought a Onyx Mach Speed Mp3 and its the best. I accidentally left it in my jeans pocket and it actually still worked after being mixed with water and bleach in the wash. Although it's limited on a few things it's still very good. Works like new! |

Worked fine for 2 weeks, went dead. Mach Speed needs to work on its customer Service!! Mach Speed has no toll free number, and customer service is open 9-5 mon-fri so I had to call long distance from work, twice. Tried to correspond via e-mail, just kept recieving ''call our Customer service number''. Sent unit back for repiar, just recieved it back, the original box was not even opened. Im throwing it away at this point, its just not worth any more time wasted. |
