Switch is on the bottom and you will forget it.
I am used to the full size Logitech and this one is just a (patch job) as far as I am concerned. Yes it works but in places the accuracy just is not their. Also, with the switch on the bottom you forget to turn it off and then I would think the battery wears down. In a mouse save for a quality one, you will be glad you did.

The Best Mouse for the Value
I've had this mouse for two years and the battery life on it is amazing. I've only had to replace the batteries once or twice. The forward and back buttons on the wheel are really convenient and the tracking is very accurate.
