Easiest ever, and fast!

For Windows, at least, this is the easiest printer I've ever installed, especially for the second a subsequent computers. The only mystery is why they put a CD in the box, since it's completely unneeded. That's clear in instructions, but they don't explain why you'd ever want the CD. Print quality is outstanding, and fast. My only complaints would be a) that the 85A toner cartridges are lower-capacity, and b) the entire printer is a bit too lightweight. The printed pages are ejected so fast that Mr. Newton's equal and opposite is sufficient to move the printer a bit.

Easy and durable

I travel a lot for work and use this as a portable printer. Setup was easy... it took longer to read the instructions then to do the setup. My work requires use of Brady cable labels printed by a laser printer and it works great for that purpose.

Works Great

I was able to get this printing wirelessly from my desktop, tablet and Android phones with the app. I like it!

Decent throw away printer

I've purchased at least one of these before for printing checks. It lasted around 2 years, and at the price it's not really worth fixing, you just buy a new one. Bought mine for around $125 each time....

Almost plug & play

We have a wireless home network with a desktop PC, laptop, iPad and two android phones. I loaded the driver on the PC and laptop, connected to the printer Wifi and it works great. It automatically showed up as an available printer on the iPad and works fine. I installed the HP eprint app on the phones and can print pics and files stored on the phone, but haven't figured out how to print an email text without having to first store it somewhere. If an old grandpa like me can make this printer work, anyone should be able to!

Impossible to use as a wireless printer

I am a computer professional, and have spent the last two hours trying to setup wireless printing from my Mac and Windows computer. It simply does NOT work. To configure the printer, you have to first hook it up via USB to a computer, then download the printer drivers. It will print via USB, but will NOT print via wireless, even after following the instructions on the included docs (on the CD). This is definitely not a fully baked product.
