I purchased this item to use in my home office and found it to be terrible. My range is only about 15 feet but keystrokes are missed over and over. I returned it after two weeks

I am using this at home, in an area that has a whole bunch of othe remotes-amp, plamsa TV, cable boxes, etc. This product works very well, in fact it was the only product I could get to work without shutting off the TV.
After a couple of years with it, it is not holding up too well to ocassional dropping. I would LOVE to see the exact same keyboard, but in a case that can take more punishment. Some large rubber handles on each end would improve grip and would help keep the case from coming apart.
As of now, I get a lot of missed characters when I type and moving the mouse is like playing a video game-you can never be sure the mouse will go in the direction that the mouse controller is being moved in. A tougher case would have prevented that from becoming a problem.
Otherwise, I recommend the product highly. Good value. Initially, great performance, but after a few dozen drops, I need to replace it soon.

I bought this to run an HTPC running WinXP Pro. Fits easily in the lap, and has excellent range in the living room. The joystick is manipulated with the thumb, and there are two ''left-click'' triggers the the upper corners of the keyboard right under the index fingers. A set of L/R mouse buttons is located at the upper left of the keyboard. If you liked using the IBM trackpoint you will like the joystick. No driver required. My two complaints are I wish I could remap some of the 4 mouse-click keys, and the delete key is located in a strange position, but otherwise I give this a big thumbs-up.

This is a Spec Research keyboard without the roller mouse function, without the multimedia buttons (without the convenient volume control) and with three times higher price. Other than that, its a nice keyboard. I'm hoping that somebody at Tiger Direct purchasing reads this and makes the better model available. C'mon guys! What the heck??
Interlink doesn't make a single keyboard, just stickers that say ''Interlink'' which obviously cost as much as two or three keyboards. Don't return your keyboard if the mouse seems to come and go. That's a battery saver feature. Tap any keyboard key and it all comes back on. The wireless range is impressive, and doesn't flake out like Gyration. Good luck with the eraser-mouse. Better models have a roller mouse, hidden scrolly wheel, extra left-click button, volume control, but the better models don't have that seriously expensive sticker that says ''Interlink Electronics''--oh what a goof.
