I purchased this product several weeks ago. It was easy to set up and worked the first time I plugged it in, even my wife has no trouble with this device. I'm using two desktop computers and once I press the button to switch from one to the other, it takes from 1-5 seconds to switch over. Great Product! |

Does the job and does it well, the only issue would be the 5 seconds it takes to switch from port A to port b and the 2 or 3 seconds it takes for the USB keyboard and mouse to work, but for the price, it's really a non issue.
It's nice that all you have to do is press scroll lock twice to perform the switch. It saves me having to reach around to press the a b buttons.
I would highly recommend this KVM to anyone who uses USB keyboard and mouse and 2 PC's. |

I just bought it today to replace and Iomega which failed (after a couple of years). This one works just fine. I am sharing with a Vista computer and Windows 7 computer. Works just fine and the audio works. One complaint is that there is an extended thud noise in the audio when I switch. Otherwise, no complaints.
The 'screen lock' hot key works out of the box. Did not have to install any software, just worked right away.
Monitor works just fine and the resolution is good. These are relatively cheap monitors also.
Keyboard and mouse are just fine, there is a momentary delay in each computer recognizing them, but it is only a second or two at the most. These are wired USB.
I would like the layout a little different as others have mentioned. Wires come out of every side if you use audio as well. Seems like they could make it a little longer, it could be thinner and all connections could be on one side.

I think the most difficult part about this is remembering whether you have a USB or an older keyboard. Other than that, it is really a snap. Have two PC's hooked to it. So far, it's been working perfectly. What a great productivity tool! |

The 1st one had the USB port die after about 2 weeks - everything else worked fine. This retailer replaced it as soon as I contacted them about it. Trendnet had verified that it was defective via email. The replacement has functioned without a hitch for about a month now. Good value for the money. |
