Great product for the money

got it in. and first pluged it in and it was made and aufully loud noise. got looking inside and the blower fan was rubbing against the sides on the inside loosed up the screws a little bit and the noise dissapeard. The room it got put in had no air conditioning at all and the room its in feels better than the whole house. I want more of them to replace all the air conditioners in the house.

Excellent price and Product!!

I got this mainly for the dehumidifier feature. Other driers cost almost as much and NO AC. This sucks out almost 9 GALLONS of water out of the house a day. I am in NC where the summer humidity is ALWAYS around 80% to 90% with 90 degree heat! My central AC kept freezing up from the humidity. So I got this and WOW! 3,000 sq ft went from 70% to 50% humid in 2 days. SO much more comfortable to live in drier air. I MAY get a 2nd one!

Bought Refurb... No Good

Bought this Refurb portable AC about a month ago.. i really regret i didn't buy New one.. it is working but everytime I turn on this AC it makes this loud noise from fan.. i don't know the problem. since this ac is so heavy & big. I decided to keep this but i don't know when this AC will stop work.. Don't buy Refurb... period

Best Product and Deal Ever!

This air conditioner took a 530 sweltering room and turned it into a cool living space. Set up for this unit was a breeze. I priced these units else where and they were 500.00 to 900.00 dollars. Can't beat the value. Thanks Again for another great deal!

Great Air Conditioner for the most part

This is an excellent air conditioner for my bedroom. It cools quickly and much more efficiently than my central unit, but there are a few features that I dislike. The main problem is that the drain is too close to the ground. Also some of the buttons are only available on the remote. Great value overall though.

OK BUT NOTHING SPECIAL

Cools OK makes a funny clicking sound when it first starts up. Definitly worth the price.

Refurbished failed

Beautiful unit, full featured, arrived within 3 days of order Runs correctly for 2-3 minutes then compressor cuts off and the system is done until you restart it. obviously not fixed the first time I would still buy this new because it has great output without needing to upgrade to 220

Happy so far

Could not beat the price of the refurb - less than half what others charge for a new one. Cools well. Very easy installation. Some features are only on the remote, not the front panel. Would recommend to others.

Cold air

I have had no problems with the unit. It cools well, but I have not had power bills yet to see the difference. The only downside is the drain for the dehumid. is so low we have to lift it up on something to drain it & it fills up often.

Cold air but lots of noise

The unit does provide a lot of cold air. However, the compressor noise does wake us up at night. Too much noise from the unit when we are trying to sleep. Also, it does draw a lot of power.
