I looked for a long time to find this device: standard MoBo, full ATX PS, full height PCI slots, good number of drive slots, price and appearance for HTPC. Looks great but is a tight fit with everything installed (even using mATX MoBO, no video card but using some IDE devices). Old CD roms are longer and there are collision problems with the MoBo. Make sure you get a quiet CPU fan (PWM), a quite PS and that you can drive the rear fans at less than full speed, as any excessive noise during quiet TV viewing will distract you. Noise and cooling are both better than expected once you get the right components (Ultra LS400 has variable speed fan, motherboard has system fan that adjusts with the heat in the case via bios, old CD is the noisiest component and will be upgraded). The PS at the front, and not used for case cooling is a disadvantage. Great value for money (compares with units up to $150).

Owned this case for a few hours now, and I think it's great! It's very compact, shiny, and streamlined...Msi Full ATX board fit in quite well. Must load the mainboard 1st, then the drives, and Power Supply lastly. The Power LED, and the HDD LED connectors must be reversed in order to work properly (Polarity). This case is a great deal for the price, and looks really good on my stereo rack !!

I have performed some pc-modding for fun, but when I was doing this as a gift for someone, this particular case proved to be quite troublesome. If you are going to be building an HTPC computer; make sure you have a Micro-ATX board, with small graphics card (no 8800s or 7950s), and the majority of the PSU's are the same size so that part will be sticking out over the board. Also it is going to be an extemely tight fit especially with all the wiring. You have to hope that the fans in there are cooling all the components with the wiring blocking the air-flow. This HTPC was the biggest of them all, in terms of dimension, to everyone considering this product...just PURCHASE a Micro-tower case (Microfly), and they're cheaper too.

I had never installed a mobo in a case before, so I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this case was for me to work with. It is indeed beautiful and suitable for the living room, not nearly as bulky as some other HTPC cases out there. The instruction manual was clear and the parts seemed reasonably good quality. It does not have extras like tool-free access, but the price is extremely reasonable for what you get. The dual-use fan grille/drive bay is unusual but I think it will keep my system cooler by dispersing the drives around the case, rather than having them all jammed together. Very happy with this purchase.
