Best add-on speakers yet.
I'd give these speakers a 10 but the scale only goes to 5. I've tried several sets of laptop speakers. Most added up to OK but theses exceeded all my expectations. Installation was just plug'm up. Sound is great on movies,music or games. For portability an cost you can't go wrong. They come in a nice carry case as well.

nice lightweight speakers
Having USB powered speakers means one less power brick to have to tangle with. Listen to music with them - works great for my ears. Only problem was the speaker volume was a bit difficult to set low - might be an issue just with windows 7 and my laptop. Recommended.

Excellent Value
The sound card in my Acer laptop is unreliable, and these speakers provided a cheap work-around. Though they are low-power, the are adequate for showing video to small groups and the design with a zippered carrying case make them ideal for use when on the road.

The presentation of this set is tough to beat if you're looking for portable, USB powered amplifier speakers. The slim speakers come in a thin case, have pop out stands, and one wire to connect before you're ready to go. The sound quality is certainly acceptable, and certainly will get LOUD, but doesn't have a lot of bass (which may be a good thing if you run off of a laptop battery!) Overall, they are very convenient and appear to have a rugged build quality; sound playback quality could be a bit better (I mostly listen to music with mine).
