I liked the fan, but it died at 28 months
I liked the fan, but it died at 28 months. Which is 4 months past warranty. The fan started wobbling and fell of when I touched it. I have a second one in a gaming systemm well see how long it last. It is around 2 years old too.

works
was over clocking a q6700 at 3.2ghz runing 40c at idle and up to 65 under load. Couldent overclock it any more or it couldent handle. Thing is huge and loud. Would only recommend to under clockers out there. But after a 2 years the fan granaded and shot out. Personally wouldent buy this again.

From 52 to 28 degree
Just bought this little thing and I have to say I'm very happy with it. Got to say that when I first saw it I was wondering if this baby was going to fit into my case (got med tower atx) but suprisingly, it did easily. Lowered my temp and runs with almost no noise at all. Only thing : if like me you have a socket 939, don't get confused with the provided intructions, just 1) remove your retention frame. 2) Screw the 2 provided extension and 3) Screw the cooling fan directly on them. You will also receive many other pieces within the package but none is needed for socket 939 as far as I'm concerned.

Kick Butowski !!!
Looks great,super-quiet,this thing is big, extends beyond mem. slots but is designed well so it clears the modules, had to remove backplate,to mount, but was no bigE,only thing I would change is that it's a 3 pin instead of 4 but still no problem.
