I purchased this monitor last year so that I could use it for working from home. Generally it performs fine, however, at least once a day, and many times more then that, the monitor will come on with the screen shifted about 2 inches to the left and a half an inch down. The only way to correc that is to turn the monitor off then back on. It is appearing that, with the monitor getting about a year old, it is not correcting as easily as it used to; in fact some times now it will not correct at all. I am forced to work with the monitor out of center...also when the screen is shifted like that, the picture is blurred. I would not recommend this product for anyone and would certainly not purchase another of these.
I've had my monitor for about a year now, and I've never had any problems with it. My component worked fine, so I don't know what was wrong with the review below me. Have my computer and Xbox 360 hooked up to it, amazing! Huge difference in my counterstrike k/d ratio! I love it and would recommend it, and as always, tiger is amazing!
A piece of crap. The Component Video does not work out of the box. I called the toll free # on their web site, a message says the # has been disconnected!? Sent emails to tech support and sales, no reply. Never by Megavision products again.
I use this monitor with my Macbook, Desktop PC and PS3. The image quality is amazing on these three systems. Watching DVDs off my computers (DVI connection) and Blu-Ray discs of my PS3 (component at 720p) is beautiful for $279.99. Bright and sharp, highly recommend it.
I bought this monitor in the store, while it was on sale for about $279. In addition, there was $50 mail-in rebate, which I already received.
The monitor had one dead pixel, but it was in the corner and was not noticable, so i decided not to go back to exchange it.
Overall, it's an AWESOME product, worth a lot more than i paid for it. The picture quality is great (has to be on max resolution though), very good colors and even has a headphones jack (at the back) and built-in speakers. Overall - totally satisfied with the purchase.
