Increased Laptop Speed
I bought this unit to replace a failing HD in my wifes laptop. She had dropped it and the old HD went into failure mode. This HD was easy to install and fast. Boots faster and accesses the data much faster. Moving the laptop or bounceing does not slow it down. We are very pleased.

Works great in my MacBook Pro
I only had a 120GB drive in my MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo and I replaced it with this drive. Since my MacBook has only SATA 1, this SATA 2 drive makes an excellent job. Everything is faster than before and the drive takes less power than the previous one so my battery lasts longer. The only thing is that it is a bit tricky to change the drive but I found good tutorials on Youtube to do the job.

Disappointing HDD Upgrade
I don't notice much of a difference between this SSD and my old 500GB 7200 RPM drive. I would recommend the faster Intel and OCZ drives over this one even though they cost a little more. According to the specs, they are both significantly faster than this drive. I wouldn't buy this drive again.

Slower than 5400 rpm Harddrive
I replaced my wifes hard drive from her 5 year old laptop which is Sata II compatible matching this drive. Boot up take longer with the SSD drive than the original. Don't buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drive doesn't fit in Thinkpad X230
I cloned my boot drive using the drive caddy in my docking station, but when I tried to replace the boot drive in the X230t I found to my disgust that it doesn't fit. The drive shipped with the T230t is thinner by a few mm. The SSD is now gathering dust on my desk as a lesson in poor planning. feh.
