Poor Quality
first unit died after 1 day, took back to store they replaced without hassle. made mistake of getting another unit,having trouble installing

very disappointed
I have never had a hard drive that lasted less then a 3 months. I think ... we need more control from the Computer stores as more and more bad cheap stuff is flowing from the Far Eastern Exporters

3 of 4 have already failed
I bought 4 of these less than 4-months ago. Three went into a single RAID 5. The other in another machine. One failed the 1st week, another about 4-weeks later. The third failed at 4-months.

Slipping
Maxtor was my favorite before I discovered WD,I've used nothing but WD since. I'm short of saying these drives are most reliable but their life span seem to get shorter with time. Had a couple failed on me in a few months. I still trust WD but keeping a close eye.

HDD failed after 2 weeks
It was working fine until the person i sold the build to told me the HDD stopped working. JML
