The Headset seemed like it was a good deal. It was comfortable and not too heavy, the volume control seemed cheap and worried me at the start. For my first game with it, ''Bioshock'', it was a great headset except for the dead space it created for what would be the center front. The headset does not create a realistic center front effect as I have seen other reviewers mention, it is like a dead space of sound directly in front of you during game with the sound seeming as it is coming from the sides at a distance instead. The bass effect never seemed to work the way it should, after about two months the right rear speaker stopped working, then the mic died shortly later, then the pin in the quick connector for the front left broke off about the fourth time it was disconected. The Sound card was a Creative labs 5.1 soundblaster Audigy card and a Dual Core Intel system. overall I am not happy about this headset and that it lasted less then three months. (the headset was not abused)

Just expect them to brake. after 8 months i have the volume controls taped up and the side plastic supports are now glued together with carbonfiber rods the mic jack internal wires are broken and no longer work. But these are a very comfortable and impressive set of headphones for 60$

For the brief period I used these headphones they sounded great. I used them for about 3 hours before they broke. Very poor construction from Turtle Beach.

These are awesome headphones for the price. The sound is very good and evenly balanced. I have had no problems with them breaking like some of the other reviewrs had. In fact, they seem pretty sturdy to me. Good buy.

Sounds great, but I'd be careful with them, and I wouldn't count on the foldable feature. Get them if you need a good pair of mixing/gaming headphones you r home PC, otherwise I'd look at some other products that can take more punishment.

;_; I bought these headphones a few months ago...In the package, theres everything I would need..single jack, surround sound jack, and even a guitar amp connector. These headphones are really comfortable, and they also have really great sound. Somethings make me bit disappointed. One thing is about 3 days after I purchased them and used them, the volume control fell apart, but that was easily fixed with tape. Just today, the right speaker broke off. One last thing about this headset I didn't like was the mic, the sound pick up was horrible. In order to be heard I needed the mic all the way to my mouth.Overall, sound quality was great, the bass is crazy good, build quality was not so great.

nice headset for the price but the construction is very poor. I've had the headset for something like 6-8 months now and was pretty much happy with the set, but while adjusting the microphone, the whole thing just slid right out, exposing the wires. now, of course, the set will not work. it's a decent headset for the price but my complaint is that the construction is very cheap.

Loved them for as long as they lasted, which was 4 months. Will never buy Turtle Beach again, unless they give more than a 3 month warranty! I looked at other Turtle Beach headphones.all come only with 3 month's warranty! That tells me all I need to know!Others all have 12 to 24 months.

pros: The sound quality can be summed up in one word WOW! these headphones sound amazing compared to anything else. What I really noticed first off was how they juicy the bass sounded. The entire range of sound is also crisp and clear, i can hear a lot of fine detail. have not tried the surround capability yet but i will as soon as my auzentech prelude x-fi soundcard gets here.
Cons: poor construction, these headphones are somewhat flimsy, it has many moving joints so they can collapse down to fit in the bag that comes with it. some of the plastic parts are very thin and underbuilt. my left earpiece broke off when I went to fold them up to pack in my suitcase. I was able to repair them with JB weld, but I cant fold them up anymore.
final thoughts: great sound, poor construction. if you are very careful they probably wont break.
but who handles their headphones with the same care as with a delicate china plate?

These headphone sound and work great but are poorly construted. My right earpiece broke off after about 2 months of use. I rigged it back together and a month later the left earpiece broke off. Over all these headphones have a great sound for the price but I wouldn't recomend them because of there cheap construction.
