No problemo
I bought 2 of them to upgrade my old laptop from 1 GB to 2 GB. I little expense for DDR memory but they work great...it almost double the speed of my laptop.

Needed memory to spped up my wife's computer
Make sure you select memory of the correct speed, size or amount the computer can operate with and that it is for a laptop. Be sure to turn the computer completely off. Simple to install, 2 min. Computer sees the change when you restart the computer. Made the computer much, much faster and my wife of 35 years is happy again!!! You can by cheaper memory but not much, this is a good product I have used for years.

New RAM for my IBM Think Pad
It took me 5 minutes to remove the original RAM and install the new. Almost tripled my memory. Everything worked so flawlessly that my laptop never blinked an eye. It really did speed things up.
