This unit got unfair reviews by people who are not intuitive or too lazy to read the manual. This unit works according to specification and please do not expect this to work like a HDTV. The only problem I have with this unit is channel number is one higher than regular cable channel but all else is great.
bought this tuner about 2months ago and i've had no problems with it. hooked it up and scanned all the channels and it work fine. everything else worked perfectly and i didn't have to read the manual.
Piece of junk. If I had to do it over I would go without and save my money. I would need too much space here to explain all the bad experience with it. Do not waste your money!
Its my last time I bought something without reading client product reviews, this is China Trash technology, they rescue it from the trash and sold it to us, the tv video quality is 30 years old, was the first technology in color tvs, when video of scene is in fast action it form white and black shadows in the object, if you touch PIP button the colors turn blue of the persons all blue an green, the channels doesnt fit where they are in cable or the public channels, channel 2 appear in 5, 3 in 15, no one fit where it belongs, and I fight 4 hours to try fix and it do what it wants, the remote control is crazy, when you increse volume, it change channels, next time it work, and every time change functions, I have a K WORLD TV BOX in other monitor(it work perfect, perfect quality) and I choose this to save a few dollars but it was money waste. theres no quality in this product dont buy this.
I bought this and I was worried it might not work due to the other reviews. Man the guys that say this doesnt work need to read the instructions. I took it out of the box read the instructions and hooked it up and the thing works great. I'm gonna buy two more for other monitors I have lying around. I will say the PIP is a little flaky but other than that it does what it says.
