Why didn't I buy this a long time ago?!
This product is absolutely amazing for anybody who takes a lot of notes for college, exams, or work. One thing I would like to see in future models though is rechargeable batteries through USB. Overall, excellent product!

A Really Great Tool!
Works as advertised. I've experienced none of the problems mentioned in some of the other reviews. I was impressed with it's quality and use it in my business.

Uniquely valuable, solid product, performs well!
This product is GREAT for people who need both electronic and paper copies of their writings and or drawings, and are not always working at their computer desk. ADVANTAGES: not expensive; portable; doesn't need tethering to a computer; uses regular notepad; use a pencil for a rough draft- trace over with the pen for the final drawing; small files; easy to swap in SD cards; can change batteries when they run down; supports exporting hi-res files for massaging with other SW packages. DISADVANTAGES: Pad batteries are AAAs (expensive); no gray shades- just black or white (pen is not pressure-sensitive), No MacOS OCR software; only uses SD cards up to 2GB; rather crude PC and Mac software; native file format is proprietary rather than standard graphical format. Overall, a VERY USEFUL PRODUCT if you need its combination of features and can live with its limitations.

JUNK
The device I purchased didn't work as the reviews suggested it would. The Neatly printed notes came out of the conversion software looking like some sort of Cold War secret code. Nothing even close to the block printed notes that were crisp clean and neat. The software also added lines,swirls and curly ques to the display that were invisible on the handwritten notes. The page display wasn't orientated with the actually paper. When writing using the onscreen display mode, as I would write left to right, it would display from top to bottom of the page and the pen placement on the paper was nowhere near where it displayed on the screen. Will return this tomorrow for a full refund. My advice, Take your notes and scan them into your computer for safe keeping. This device isn't worth the amount of time I have wasted on it today.
