Great value

Easy set up, downloaded latest firmware, set up my SSID's and WPA keys, and was good to go. Performance is good, nice having the USB port and more than four ethernet ports.

Great router

Upgraded from an old Linksys G router and access point. Setup was easy. The setup walks you through the basics and I was up and running in minutes. Many more options than my old router. I love the USB port as I can attach a drive and have it seen as a network drive. Wireless coverage is far better than my old access point and speed is way up, even through a wired port. Don't underestimate the WD networking products just because you haven't heard of them. They work fine. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent Router

Very good, reliable, fast. Lacks monitoring ability, like bandwidth usage but has a sleek interface and plenty of features you'd find on a high end firewall. Only one device (apple tv) that I have uses the 5Ghz band. All of my other N network cards use the 2.4 Ghz. So a dual band router might not be all that useful to all.

Nice. Had skype problems at first but then after i updated the firmware it was good.

Seems solid so far

Had it for about 3 weeks. Simple to set up and connect. Solid but not exceptional signal, and plenty fast. Being able to put a media PC on one band and everything else on another is useful. I like that it does not have antenna sticking out all over and looks low key.

Great... for a minute or two

Bought one and it worked when it was first connected to PC and cable modem. I configured wifi, and then I updated the firmware. After update I connected the rest of my stuff (NAS, printer, switch downstairs, etc.). After the restart none of my wired devices could access the internet. The WD setup program was able to verify the router was connected to the PC, but was unable to verify the router's connection to the internet. Windows also reported that it had internet access (i.e and IP address), but was unable to access any web content. FYI, the router's firewall was not enabled. While the wired devices were failing miserably, I was able to connect via wifi and surf the web using my wifi-only android tablet. This confirmed that the router was connected to the cable modem, but for some mysterious reason it was blocking wired devices from the internet. Currently processing RMA through WD

Worked alright while it lasted

Set up easy and performed above average for one month then the fan stopped working one day without knowing and it over heated and died.

Good value product

Very easy to set up. Have had no problems and range is pretty good.

Router did not work right. It was returned

I had two internet disconnects, both times I had to turn off the router then on to return internet connection. My wireless printer did not see the router's wireless networks. Yet my printer could see all my neighbor's networks. And yet all my wireless computers could see the wireless network and connect. The second internet disconnect happened over night when all my computers are updating. To frustrating to continue to use.

The worst router i ever owned

Honestly if the blocking of connections it should have been making better and he droping of connection randomly for no reason this has to be the worst i ever bought
