AEP Networks Software Maintenance Program Annual Product Details
Software Maintenance Program is mandatory for the first year after initial product purchase. Subsequent renewals are optional but strongly recommended. This program provides customers access to bug fix updates and new feature software upgrades Software bug fix updates are provided as necessary, but not more frequently than monthly. New feature software upgrades are generally provided twice per year.Software Maintenance is sold with an Annual contract term and must cover all purchased product functionality within a solution deployment. Any additional licenses or services added to an appliance during the coverage period must also be added to the Maintenance contract and will incur additional costs. When additional licenses or services are added, the additional pricing for Maintenance will be prorated to cover only the remainder of the original contract period.Software Maintenance commences from the date the product is shipped from either AEP Networks or an AEP Networks authorized distributor and shall continue in full force for a thirteen (13) month initial contract term. Subsequent renewals are offered on a 12-month basis. AEP Networks or an AEP Networks authorized distributor will make a reasonable effort to provide notification to the customer of pending contract expiration dates.
