I got the powercolour version of this card and it works well i overclocked it an extra 100 mhz from the 500mhz stock running pretty smooth with ATI Tool crysis runs on mostly high using xp with 25 fps no AA 800*600 and COD4 maxed out 1024*768 with 30-35 fps avg no AA but then I am running with 2GB PC6400, Intel C2D e6550 @ 2.52GHZ good card overall!

Im afraid I cannot give this card a good rating for the following reasons. One games from 2003 - 2006 run on medium graphical level, poorly at that. second the Ati drivers i downloaded several times and installed hardly worked. and 4rth about a month and a half after i bought it the cards fan failed it over heated and it was done. I realize it was under warranty but i just went straight back to nvidia since all the cards Ive used from them have lasted about 40 times longer and had better performance. This card barely matched my geforce FX5200 AGP from the old days. and thats really sad.

I got the PCI-E version. The pros: This card can run your 2003-2006 games at medium-high settings and the 512mb allows widescreeners to play at pretty high resolutions. Make sure you download the latest drivers because they're so much better than the original CD (with new Overclock feature). The cons: DDR2 Ram = slow. This card gets pretty hot so make sure you have enough fans in your case, especially if you plan on overclocking. The OC only gets me an average of 12% better results on 3DMark03/05/06 so if your system allows, don't OC it as it will only get this card to shorten its lifetime for very little in return. I also fear this card won't have enough power to run upcoming DirectX 10 games such as Crysis at very good graphics. But for the price, it allowed me to play some of the latest games at high res. on my widescreen. If you don't play on widescreen monitors, get the same card with 256MB DDR3 instead.
