Multi-Fan Controller for 3.5" Drive Bay
You want complete control over your case fan RPM's in order to get that perfect
balance of low noise and keeping components cool. But when you're gaming, and
your components start getting hot, isn't it good to know that your fans are
capable of moving as much air as possible? Most fan controllers won't even let
a fan spin at 100% of it's specified RPM even when the controller is turned
up to it's maximum. It's not unusual for power to get lost through the circuitry
of the controller and the resulting drop in voltage prevents your fans from
moving as much air as possible. This is why Ultra designed the new Multi-Fan
Controller from the ground up.
By thinking outside of the box, we've created a fan controller that not only runs the fans from 0% to 100% of their rated speed, but also can run a fan more silent than it's specification! The Ultra Fan Controller has four channels, each capable of outputting between 6.5V and 13V. The controller fits in any available external 3.5" bay and emits a subtle blue light from around each knob. The controller uses standard 3-pin fan headers and even includes 3-pin extensions so RPM's can be monitored by the motherboard and it's all backed by Ultra's unparalleled 3 year warranty.

Great way to power more fans on the cheap
There is quite the mess of wires attached to this, but for the price it does the job well. Looks great from the outside mounted in a 3.5 drive bay. Great way to fit in more fans than a motherboard supports, or to turn down some of the loud ones.

Works as advertised
Works great, installation was easy, has a connector for each fan and a separate connector for the motherboard. That way you can still keep and eye on the fan speeds through the operating system

Works well
I got this controller because of how my motherboard is configured i have no way to control fan speeds this does the trick on lowest and on highest setting the temps see a 5-10 degree decrease now for a few pointers for you future buyers: as a previous reviewer said this conroller has TWO LEDs not FOUR the logic board has area for 4 LEDs so you could wire 2 more blue LEDs in if you wish the board is UPSIDE DOWN so fan 1 is the far right knob and the fan 4 is the far left knob so if you want it to be controller from left to right hook fans 1 and 2 to connectors 4 and 3 the LEDs are only at knobs for fans 1 and 3 i could not use the 3 pin motherboard connector to monitor RPMs because it locks up my computer aand one more thing is if you have a case that require special guide mounting screws or clip on brackets (mine has both) the holes on this controller are smaller then what floppy drives have and you have to do some modifying to the plastic housing of this to install it
