The computer is fine right out of the box, but
The computer is fine right out of the box, but the first thing I did as put a 120GB SSD in as my primary drive, added 8 more GB of RAM, upgraded the power supply to a 620W, added an LG Blu-ray player and a ZOTAC GeForce GT 640 ZT-60201-10L Video Card.

Just OK
The computer itself is OK... The problem is the optical drive. After only 2 weeks of use, it is noisy, the speed varies and sometimes it won't start at all. I would have to pay to ship the whole computer to Texas and be without it for 7-10 days to get optical drive fixed or replaced under warranty. That is not cost effective and certainly not customer friendly.

Great computer and a good price
I purchased this computer for $599. It was a great deal. Received it within the week and my son hooked it up for me. I use my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse which was a gift from last X-mas. It is fast and quiet. This is the first gateway I have owned and would recommend this computer as it serves all my purposes. A Great value, good quality and a fast performer. Thank you

Excellent buy
Great system ! No complaint whatsoever. I upgraded to 14 GB RAM (bought 8 GB more at $29 after rebate).

Well constructed
I am not using the included keyboard and mouse, so no comment there. The PC itself runs great and is well constructed. The only complaint I can possibly think of is that the power light on the top edge is very bright. For some it might be a bit too bright..... that's being pretty picky!
