Decent server
Pros: + The case is really nice, though it very heavy duty. I am somewhat used to seeing lightweight computer cases these days. However, the rack mount box on this is really heavy duty. The box is very stout when fully assembled. + I am installing and running Windows Server 2012 Essentials. The computer runs this fine. It is a basic no frills setup. I have it running headless in a rack via remote desktop and the WSE dashboard. + Loaded the unit up with 4 additional 3TB hard drives. The optical disk and 500gb system disk have now consumed all of the onboard SATA ports. Everything running AOK Cons: - It is a two person job to get the box into the rack. It must weight about 25lbs. - I am going to replace the provided 120MM fan, which is pretty loud but easy to change out. High quality unit. I am pleased.
