Product works as advertised
I got the E3200 to replace an E1200 router. I specifically purchased it for the USB port. My plan is to use this port to facilitize backing up all the computers on my home network. However, I haven't enabled this feature. I was pleased to discover that the E3200 provides a somewhat stronger WiFi signal than the E1200 so I will not need another device to amplify the signal down stairs. However, my use is in no way taxing the capabilities of this router.

Good Value and Product
I got this new router for my daughter's new off campus apartment. It was an easy install along with a new modem (Motorola SB6121). It was a very easy setup and a lot easier than when I setup one for the house years ago. Things have improved in that area for sure. Router setup a few years back was not a pleasant experience. I setup her roommates computers on the router in a jiffy. The dual band is really nice and allows for live streaming, as well as, regular internet computing without any loss of speed. I also setup everyone in the house to a HP Laser Jet printer by using the USB port on the router. It was a pretty easy setup and the priting is faster than I expected. I will setup a guest network in the future which is a good feature when friends come over with a laptop or iPad and want to hook up to WiFi. A great product and I recommend this unit.

Easy to connect up. Easy to add external drive or printer. Fast for video processing using wireless connection to data on external drive.

Upgrade from dying Linksys G router
This router performs as rated except in one area. I specifically purchase this router to network my printer to two computers; one running Windows 7, the other Windows XP Pro. However, neither I nor Linksys could get the router to communicate with my XP system and the Printer. Linksys tried for 2 hours without success. Even with my Windows 7 system, I cannot use the Scan features through the router. So, overall, as a Router, it works well. As a network system with printers, it lacks ability.

Best router you could buy
Extremely easy to set up. A Breeze. Excellent range. I was hooked on Cisco's E-series after suffering with a NetGear WNDR-3300 too long. What a dismal product! I purchased a Cisco E3000 - what a difference! Needing better range I upgraded to the E3200. I couldn't believe Cisco could make a better product but they did! Plug 'n play installation.
