This printer is WITHOUT A DOUBT the biggest piece of GARBAGE I have EVER bought in my life. This was my first experience with Epson and I'm here to tell you,it will definitely be my last. First off, the printer was DOA out of the box. Next, Epson doesn't have an 800 number for tech support so unless you have unlimited long distance, you're gonna pay. Third, the nitwit tech support guy spent more time trying to convince me I had an awesome printer than he did trying to resolve my issue. Epson ... BITE ME. Never again! |

What can I really say other than buy this machine. I bought this printer for the express purpose of printing directly on DVD/CD discs and it works great. It will take it's time lining up the disk and printing but the final product is great. It prints photos extremely well also.
There is a big however, and it seems to be a common one. This thing loves its ink and goes through it faster than a ford excursion does gas. This is an issue since the ink isn't the cheapest once you take into account there is six different ink units. I recommend using this machine for your high quality photo prints and disc prints and to keep a seperate printer for basic day-to-day utlity printing.
Final notes: I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner for my Disc and Photo needs, it does the job for a very resonable price. |

As everyone else has reported, the print quality is excellent and Epson did a good job improving the feed mechanism for printing CD/DVDs, which primarily is what I use it for.
The cost of ink is an issue, but I've been using independent inks successfully to manage the costs. Those inks can be problematic for ''occasional'' users, but persons using the printer daily should find success.
Overall, quite a bargain. |

I recently purchased this printer at Best buy for 39.00 dollars...it was on sale. Boy am I impressed Been a fan of cannon for a long time--but this printer really produces, but be warned-to replace the whole set of ink will run you close to 120.00 dollars.. you get what you pay for-great inks but expensive to replace-- |
