Basic External Hard Drive
Good for simple back-up, using it as a normal external hard drive. No Syncing capability, and the Software User Interface leaves a lot to be desired.

Good For Back ups
Good to use for your back up drive. Software is good for using one computer to back up from. Not so good to back up from multi computers... Am using it like any other external storage drive.

First one DOA
The first unit I got was dead on arrival, or not quite dead but it would not work. However, the replacement works well. I got it for a backup, and it is fast and holds lots of data. Looks good too.

Very good basic hard drive
Upfront I'll explain my lower mark for features -- this drive has no included backup or drive encryption software. It's just a basic essential class portable hard drive, as it says it is. This drive works well under Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8. It works in network shares. It would probably work in Windows 8 storage spaces. Since there's no included software, file syncing is not offered as a feature. But if you like third-party software for backup and encryption, this drive will serve well. I've never had a hard drive from this company fail me, which is more than I can say for some other companies. The small form factor is good for travel. The performance is typical of USB hard drives. Overall, a good value in a basic portable hard drive.

Almost as simple as plug and play. Holds everything it needs to. I have the ability to pick and choose what is saves.
