Low cost don't justify buggy ''operating software''. The docs included is very bad, and the online docs don't seem to be pertaining to the same player.

Had a problem recognizing the player until I did a couple of windows updates and that sorted it out fine media player recognizes it as well now.I was impressed how quickly Mr Turner responded to my email and believe completely that the company he works for ..Centron are attempting to do right by its customers.Thank you. Terrible!! The worst piece of junk I ever purchased. It would work when it wanted to work. Some times it would not turn on. Some times the controls would not work. Instructions and tech support were worthless. Don’t waste your time and money. I’ll take my iPod any day. It costs more but at least it still works!!

I am not into these types of devices so not sure what is good or bad. I got it about a year ago to listen to old time radio programs, for a flash drive. Wanted replaceable batteries and fm was a bonus. Instructions were useless and only playing with it got it figured out. OEM earbuds look good but are terrible. FM is selective. Flash drive works well and the player has been faultless. Overall I am happy with it. I am used to better support but happily have not needed it once I figured out how it worked. I was concerned about the end cover coming lose and a couple of times it has come off in my pocket and the battery door slipped off as a result but it has not worn and become loose as I thought it woold.

This was my first MP3 player, but it is the worst product I've bought in a long time. It lasted me 1 month and I contacted the company for a replacement, but so far haven't heard anything.
If I could rate this product zero, if not negative, I would. Its worthless.

I got this for a gift last Christmas. it worked well, until i tried the FM radio feature - then it turned itself off. i had the unit replaced, the replacement worked great for 3 weeks, then the display stopped working - i got that one replaced, and the newest one does not work with the radio again!
please save yourself the trouble, don't buy this one.

Do not waste your time with Centon product. Bought one for Christmas as a gift and product was Dead on Arrival. Could not get anyone from Centon to amswer my emails so unit could be fixed or replaced.

When it works this little MP3 Player is great. The bad news is it only works once and while. Most of the time I can't get it to turn on and if it does turn on it crashes about 3 seconds later. My advice is to stay away from this product. I got it as a Christmas gift in 2006 and by January of 07 it was giving me problems. It was working pretty good in Feb. of 07 but since March of 07 I have gave up on trying to use it. I came back to this site to see if others where having the same problems and it seems like they are. I'm now going to shop for a new one... not a Centon!

it was a serious mistake buying this mp3 player. As I listen to books, I like to pick up where I left off, which this player just will not do. The docs included are a very bad translation, and the online docs don't seem to be pertaining to the same player.
It sucks badly.
