Very good speakers, nice and loud, can make lots of bass. HOWEVER: when I bought these about 2 years ago, I got them for only around $60
Not bad for the $$$$$

like the headline says. not nearly as nice sounding as my altec lansing speakers which were twice the price 5 years ago

these are great for what they are. Inexpensive and not bulky by any means. My son loves them and they plug n played in his $9.99 - 5.1 sound card in his computer. Great bargain! Easy setup!

these are good speakers for what i need them for tha sound quality is good and the bass (for explosions in games and movies)is great music also sounds great not too many features on the control panel but i control the settings through my audio program.
all in all this is a good set of speakers for the price
