I love this monitor except for one simple fact. The stand and mount are horrible. My screen is constantly tilted down due to the actual mount pulling out of the back of the monitor. The stand is not designed to hold the weight of the screen.

I am very pleased with this monitor. So far I have not had any problems with it. The color is pleasing and I have not noticed a loss of pixels or any distortion of colors. While some owners have voiced complaints about corner distortion, I found that seating plays an important part in the use of this monitor. You have to be seated in the center of the monitor to enjoy it. I have no qualms with this monitor. I will buy another Samsung 225BW 22'' Widescreen from Tiger Direct if I needed one!

I bought this monitor 14 June 2007. I brought it home and hooked it up (Dell 2400 Dimension computer) and it immediately came on and with no programming required. I have no dead pixels and the picture is large and super!!!
I know it's only been a week, but if this is any indication of what is ahead, I'm very impressed.
Great colors with no distortion.

Contrary to what the last couple posters stated, this monitor does not suck. The color saturation is not perfect throughout. True. The money this monitor cost makes it a great value, however. The picture is clear, clean and bright. The ws is nice for viewing movies or playing games. I am an avid game player and have yet to be disappointed by the performance of the 225BW...Can you get much better? Yes...if you're willing to put out the extra $$. If you're on a budget, definitely consider this monitor.

Tiger Direct Rocks!!! Sadly... this monitor sucks!!! Games = OK. Computing = OK. Video editing = Crap. Photo editing = Useless. Movies = Crap. I kinda' agree with the Steve guy below, if you are used to a cheap monitor then you will be happy with this one. However... NOBODY in MY family likes this one, not even my 7 yr old daughter!! ''Dad, why did you get rid of our good one??'' Our ''good one'', by the way, was an 8 yr old stock dell crt. Go Figure! I gave this POS to my daughter's school and ordered a BenQ FP241WZ 24''. It was nearly triple the price but it is an incredible monitor. YES, Tiger Direct sells it!! Buy that one if you can! Nuff Said.

On the plus side, there were no dead pixels, and adjustibilty is great. On the down side, no matter what way I've positioned mine, there is no way to orient it to make the color reproduction consistent throughout the screen. The top half always looks dark, with saturated colors, while the bottom half always looks bright, faded, and washed out, making it virtually useless for photo editing. Probably returning it for another brand.

I am not impressed. Nice size, looks good on my desk... but crappy picture. Upper right corner is dull and dark while lower right corner is bright and sharp. There are no adjustments to fix this and the included programs will not run on my pc. I also had to mess around for about an hour to even get the thing to work. My own fault for buying a cheap monitor. That is exactly what I got. However, if you are used to a low quality monitor then you will love this one... my wife does!!

I upgraded from a 18 inch Proview LCD monitor. This was a great choice and I highly recommend it. I love the clear crisp imaging, and fast response time. As a developer, I spend up to 16 hours a day in front of my computer and this has made my life nicer.

This LCD is fantastic! I had no trouble setting it up, and was using it within 10 minutes. Be careful when shopping for widescreen LCD monitors, some are much taller than others. This one is big at 16.1'' tall! Even with my crappy on-the-motherboard video source it looks amazing. So, if it looks this good now, how would it look with a good digital signal graphics card? Hmmmmm..... Look out Tiger.....

I was a bit nervous ordering an LCD as I had heard horror stories of dead pixels. This one came in perfect. Coming from a 17 inch CRT to this is amazing! You can easily fit two word documents side by side. No ghosting in games, though if you don't have a high end video card don't expect to play newer games with high settings.
