I purchased this card for doing general desktop applications...Word, PowerPoint, etc. The installation was simple and it works great! It comes with a DVI to VGA adapter.
Works well!

I bought it to have 2 screens and it worked perfectly. Easy to install and it was a great 'investment', it really helps having the 2nd screen.

I bought this after researching video cards on Ubuntu Linux. In the forums, it seems like you can pick any ATI card and it'll be supported. So, I bought this card just to watch less choppy streaming video on the old PIII I got from work and loaded with Linux. After installing the card, it passed video through it but maxed out at 800x600 mode. Turns out there are no official ATI drivers for Radeon 7000 or 7500. There is limited support for the 7000 series in Linux already. If you're looking for a graphics card for Linux, many people recommend nVidia, but ATI support starts with the Radeon 9000 series and up. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with this card in Windows, but it's actually a downgrade from onboard graphics on my Linux machine.

Good for DVD playback, not good for any decent games. I tried Half Life 2 and the game was just not playable. Good for Office apps though.

This provided a good, low-cost upgrade for my aging HP w/ standard on-board graphics (Win98 OS). My biggest gripe was driver installation. I was not able to use the drivers supplied with the unit. I resolved by downloading current drivers from the VisionTek site.
