Bought this TV from Tiger back in January, six months later and I'm still more than satisfied with it. Picture quality is great, I've actually had a hardcore videophile grudgingly admit it did a good job. Bright, colourful, no blurring Also, the casing is completely gloss-free! It drives me nuts how so many HDTV makers would rather have their products look sexy when on display then making the thing not glare up at the slightest hint of natural light in the room. Not the case with this one.
Nothing to add to the cons that hasn't already been said. Remote and UI takes a little getting used to, about a five second delay turning it on, etc. But if you don't mind that stuff and want to enter the HDTV world on a budget, this is an excellent choice because the one place they didn't cut corners were the amount of input ports and the display quality, and that's what really matters when trying to save a few bucks.

What can I say about this item. It has tons of ports, Plenty of picture settings to customise to your liking, The Speakers are quite punchy with lots of range, easy to set up, Picture looks great on XBOX, PC or just plain old TV. I'm really impressed with the price, value and just plain old bang for buck! If your on a budget or not this is a great buy regardless.

just picked this up 3 days ago and felt i should post a few things. 1) the manual book is now included and is very easy to follow 2) there was 2 HDMI inputs on the one i bought (burlington, ON Canada) 3) people complaining about the bright blue LED being on....it can be turned off in the settings easily. SO far the HD picture is great, the non HD is like most other top name LCD's (a little fuzzy. Overall its a great value and quality LCD that is comparable to those 2x the price!

By and far my favorite purchase. $700 for a 37'' LCD that has SO many AV connections (VGA too) that I finally feel like the money I saved from stealing internet movies and music is paying off!
The good:
Beautiful screen, great remote, endless connections, beautiful sound, quick shipping.
The bad:
No hard copy owners manual (I know, boo hoo), can't get an optimized view through the VGA connection.
I highly recommend picking up one of these. I picked up the 2yr warranty for the off-brand chance, and I am sure I wasted that money. Don't wait for ''prices to drop'' because they're not getting any lower. Indulge your NCAA sport-loving, XBOX playing, Guitar-Hero fanatical self and hook this bad boy up in your living room. You won't regret it. I haven't.

Been using for a few days now and am most impressed. Loads of inputs, comparable models from toshiba/lg etc all had less.
lip sync feature is a boon on weird audio/video feeds. Picture is excellent (LG made LCD apparently).
Menu is fine if you ask me, i find it intuitive and I even have my rogers remote running the show too.

I bought the Olevia 537H LCD TV from TigerDirect store in Markham last Sunday and I love it (my wife loves it too)! Easy to set up right out of the box, even though a few flaws mentioned by some users on another forum (I did research), such as slow startup time, complicated OSD menu, inconvenient CD manual, etc., I think those flaws are minor and acceptable, you can't really beat the price for the value! Beautiful pictures and great sound! Also great service from TigerDirect as the sales representative explains everything very thoroughly and professionally, way to go TigerDirect! Highly recommended.

This is my first HDTV and I absolutely love it. I don't think you can find a better value out there on a 37 inch LCD. The picture is great in both 720p and 1080i. Came with 2 HDMI inputs in addition to the numerous other inputs. I have EVERTHING hooked up to this great looking TV including DirectTV HD receiver, surround sound receiver, upconverting DVD player, Nintendo Wii, VGA cable for my laptop and even my Zen mp3 player hooked up thru the TV and to my surround sound. I cant find a single pixel out, the menu seems easy enough for me to operate and setup is basically plug and play. I highly recommend this LCD if you cant afford to spend $1000 on one.

I purchased the Olevia 537H LCD TV from Tiger Direct a year ago, so it's been very well time-tested in my living room, and it has performed beautifully and flawlessly from the moment it was first turned on.
The code for it's remote control is easily available for Harmony remotes, so if it's not available for other universal remotes, that's not Olevia's fault.
The picture is great at all resolutions - from 480p (regular TV) and up. With a high-def source, the picutre is simply fantastic, the colors are full and rich, and the contrast is very clear and crisp. Btw: having an ultra-high contrast ratio is not necessarily a good thing, if it hasn't been done right. Ultra-high contrast LCDs have a lot of banding and other problems that make watching such TVs miserable. The good LCD TVs with ultra-high contrast levels will cost you a mint, and even then, you won't see a difference equal to the extra bucks you had to pay for it. -- Bottom line: I highly recommend Olevia LCD TVs to everyone.

Great picture with HD using HDMI cable. Average picture with anything else. When I installed the HDMI cable, even the wife said ''wow''.
Only con is no universal remote code for this tv.

We ordered this TV 1 1/2 years ago, and the first one they had to replace after 3 months the second one had a problem with the audio and they gave us the run around for over a year told us to hook it up to the computer and that would fix it, and their program blew the mother board, and then told us we had to go to our extended warranty company even though this problem was before the Manufacturer warranty was up. The Customer Service there is terrible. We will NEVER buy another Olevia.
