reciever works good
had receiver for a couple months. the product is good but manual and instructions may as well been gibberish. can be difficult to program all devices to run on one remote and will take getting newer ir codes. auto switching works great. nice product but will add a couple dollars and go with the Yamaha.

VSX-1022
I have had this receiver about 3 months. The sound started to cut out after one month. It has been in for service for one month. Parts will not be available for another 2 months. This was a new not refurbished receiver. It would seem if it couldn't be repaired under warranty in a timely manner, Pioneer would replace it. My old Pioneer receiver (10 years old) works well but lacks HDMI, a must have.
