Very nice computer!
After I received it, I had a 240gb SS drive installed and loaded all programs on that, using the 2TB drive only for file storage. It runs beautifully, and boots up faster than anything I've ever worked on. fantastic graphics and great value.

ASUS CM6870
I purchased this computer for work. I do a lot of engineering calculations and it performs extremely well. A faster disk would be nice, but doesn't seem to result in any significant slowdown. 16 GB of memory is great.

Good Value
I think that, for the price this is a good computer and good value. I'm not a computer guru, but I have been pleased with the speed and the way it works. I was a bit disappointed with the rating of the graphics card, after I saw that. I'm not into a lot of gaming though and haven't seen anything to complain about on the games that I have played. I have never had an ASUS product before so it is really too soon to comment on how well it holds up or their service. We bought one of these for me and one for my husband and so far, we are both satisfied with them. I would purchase them again, at this point.

CM6870
I was a little dissappointed with it's performance at first. Games were getting very low frame rates. Not even fun to play. It got a 5.1rating in windows because of the graphics card and the slow hard drive. I replaced the power supply and video card and the performance is WAY better. Still only a 5.9 rating because of the hard drive. Everything else is 7.8. I will replace the hard drive with an SSD drive yet and this machine will be amazing. Well made unit otherwise. Just budget for a few more components when purchasing this unit. And to answer the other reviewer, it does have both 6gb and 3gb sata controller. 2 of each.

Hard drive controller speed
I am looking at the machine and trying to understand why they put a 5400 rpm drive on such a performance package, plus it doesn't indicate if is a 6GB controller. This a significant performance reduction.
