I actually purchased this a Mad Dod Dominator 4X-R drive. It works well. The previous comment about burning non-branded discs at 1X speed is confirmed. I had similar problems with KMA discs. Do yourself a favor and burn only good quality discs to begin with. I suggest Japanese made Maxells.

I like this burner, does the job well. no problems at all... I have always liked Toshiba products. good buy for the money.
