Works
I bought this to upgrade the memory on a seven year old HP Pavilion laptop. I upgraded the memory so that the machine would load windows 8, works better now than it ever did with XP.

Good Performance
Obtaining two one gig memory chips doubled my memory and my laptop works much faster now. These memory chips work as fine as any I have ever purchased. The extra memory, also, makes video work smoother since you can used the shared video option in CMOS and increase the embedded video's memory.

Good Value
I ordered this for my Dell 5100 which is 10 years old. I'd tried 2-512mb memory units but found out the second slot in the computer wasn't working. I put this memory into the first slot and it made a tremendous difference in the performance of the computer.
