mine had a dead pixel on the upper left of the screen, i bought it as a xmas gift for my mother so I dont care, not mine. But the worst thing about the Acer is the lousy software disc for the drivers. You see my mother is cheap so she still has dialup. The silly disc reverts you to their website for the drivers, thus with dialup you can forget it. So now it runs off of the default settings on the motherboard/win xp. I'll never buy one of these for myself but it has a sharp picture despite the dead pixel. |

Bought this monitor for my other computer that I use as a gaming server. I love this monitor, and for the price how could you go wrong. If your looking for a good LCD monitor, you can not go wrong with this one. |

Bought an ACER AL1716 locally for myself. Wife saw it and wanted one also. Both monitors work great, but mine cost me $25 more. TigerDirect flyer came in and ACER AL1706 was shown and my wife got hers. For the money the ACER brand is the very best buy! |

This monitor is used as a second monitor for my laptop from work. The monitor is everything I need as a second unit. The display is excellent for a 17 inch monitor and I recommend the monitor for home use. Exellent price for a very good monitor. |

I previously owned a 17 CRT monitor. This Acer 17'' is much brighter in colors and has incredible clarity. I shouldn't have waited so long to buy. Having difficulty getting the rebate processed. |

I wanted a flat screen so that we could move the family PC into the Family room. We did this so the kids could play, my wife could get e-mails etc. The ACER 17'' monitor is an awesome monitor for any price, but when you factor in the price, the ACER can't be beat. It has great lines, and the display quality is top flight!!! |
